THE 46TH ANNUAL MEETING OF THE HEIDEGGER CIRCLE
will take place May 4-6, 2012 at Emory University. This year’s meeting will include a special session addressing the recently published 1934-35 seminar Hegel: Philosophy of Right (from GA 86), and another devoted to the fiftieth anniversary of Heidegger’s 1962 lecture “Time and Being.” Panels on Heidegger and language/poetry (including the 2010 publication of GA 74) as well as on Derrida’s recently published readings of Heidegger are in the planning. Contributions in all areas of Heidegger’s thought are welcome.

CONFERENCE HOTEL
The conference will be held at the Emory Conference Center Hotel, 1615 Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA 30329, phone: (404) 712-6565 or 1-(800)-933-6679. The conference rate is $139/night and includes all meals during the conference (breakfast, lunch, dinner), excluding the Saturday banquet which must be registered for separately. To reserve a room at the Circle’s special rate, please contact the hotel directly and mention the Heidegger Circle.
REGISTRATION
Conference attendees must be current members of the Heidegger Circle. Information on joining the Circle is here.
BANQUET
The conference banquet will be held Saturday evening, May 5th at the South City Kitchen restaurant. The menu will consist of contemporary Southern cuisine and fine wine. Cost is $50/person. Please note that banquet cost is not included in hotel or conference registration costs. You may use a credit card or PayPal to pay the banquet fee using this link:

The deadline for paper submissions was February 1, 2012. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by 29 February 29, 2012.
